Why "Open Flower"?
In the Old Testament, Solomon's temple was carved everywhere with cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers: beauty woven into the place where God dwelt with His people (1 Kings 6:29). These images echoed Eden and pointed ahead to the garden-city, where living face to face with God will make us fully alive, fragrant with the life we were designed for. And we catch the scent of that future even now, as through us God spreads "the aroma of Christ everywhere we go" (2 Corinthians 2:14).
That's where Open Flower Studio gets its name. In God's presence, we become more and more our open, unique, and fragrant selves, each of us an open flower. Together, we're a bouquet: a spray of varied voices saying, singing, and scribbling songs of the beauty of Jesus as acts of worship.
Come meet us there. Pull up a chair, bring your voice, and add your color to the bouquet.
